About Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akçay
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akçay is a specialist in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology, Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, and Paediatrics. His main areas of practice include the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of allergic diseases; asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, anaphylaxis, atopic dermatitis, and the clinical interpretation of allergy tests.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akçay contributes to the preparation and scientific review of medical content published by Istanbul Allergy. He places importance on basing health information on current scientific evidence, international guidelines and clinical practice.
